A Telegram bot that automates Fortnite account listing ingestion, extracting cosmetics via Groq Vision LLM and publishing to Firestore.
Ingestion in under 60 seconds
The problem
Manually transcribing cosmetic counts (Skins, Backblings, Pickaxes, Emotes) from Fortnite locker screenshots and entering metadata is slow and tedious when publishing listings at scale.
What I built
Built a long-running Telegram bot that parses forwarded account screenshots and captions. It uses Groq's Vision LLM to automatically extract cosmetic counts from StormyChecker screenshots, processes the text caption for access flags/pricing, prompts for a title, and publishes the listing directly to Firestore.
- Album buffering for multi-image forwarded screenshots (StormyChecker reports)
- Groq Vision LLM integration for automated image categorization and cosmetic count extraction
- Natural language caption parsing for access flags (email changeable, full access) and prices
- Interactive chat flow requesting custom titles and confirmation using Inline Keyboard buttons
- Global FIFO concurrency queue preventing API rate limit overloading
- systemd service integration for production process monitoring on VPS
The result
- Reduces account listing creation time from several minutes to under 60 seconds
- Eliminates manual transcription errors for cosmetic counts
- Supports instant or confirm-first publishing modes directly from Telegram
